[ most of the time, Hanzo's avoidance has been in the form of silence or sleeping, and simply trying not to be in the same room as Genji at times. but right now, even as the evening grows late, he's completely gone. and he wishes he could leave it at that, collect himself elsewhere and return, but. he's more rattled by the things Reaper said than he wants to admit. ]

[ he went drinking with Taako yesterday; he's just finished drinking with McCree today. or "finished," really, because now that he's already drunk enough, he's considering moving on to the flask of sake he keeps and drinking until he blacks out, because it's just that kind of week. which is why he's sending this warning on his way back to the apartment. if he's doing this, he refuses to be woken up for meditation, or breakfast, or any other benign reason Genji might have. ]

[It had been two weeks since the masquerade, and a whole hell of a lot of things had happened during that time.. so you'd think that would have gotten his mind off of this, but. As it turns out he's still rather annoyed at running out of expendable funds once he got to the one date he'd really wanted. [In all likelyhood, he's stared at Genji's name in his contacts for a good half hour before figuring out a good way to start this. It's been too long he's put it off, so...

So I hear that Dodger and you are having a little tiff.
However, he's not been exactly forthcoming as to why.

I was wondering if you'd be able to help clear that up for me.
It'd be a big help in some decision making.

[ So Genji doesn't get a text or any notification about Shigeru showing up in the early evening of the day. Hana had at least texted him to tell him when she was leaving so he could come over to keep the other man company. So with his presents in hand Shigeru will head over. His heart is beating so fast once he's actually outside the apartment.

He honestly can't even remember walking there, his legs taking him almost like on auto-pilot, to Genji's place. He has a bag with Genji's present in one hand and some nice delicious food packed in the other. Swallowing thickly he'll lightly knock on the door. His palms are already sweaty and his heart is beating a mile a minute. But he's got this!! ]

[Perhaps this isn't unexpected, given the last time Dodger contacted him. He's been pretty quiet, not up to his usual antics for over a month now and generally leaving Shigeru alone to boot. Which means he must be planning something, right?

He doesn't greet Genji so much as he just... well, sits down next to him while he's meditating, and starts watching him with the sort of intensity one would expect from someone studying a science project. Taking in every detail of his form, his posture, the small movements while he sits. And even once he's figured all of that out he still doesn't speak, instead just turning and trying to replicate the posture. It's a parody of it, at best, but he does seem to actually be trying to... "think about nothing" or whatever zen types are supposed to do.

Too bad his head was never filled with much thought in the first place, just rage.]

[ What up Genji. You're gonna get a surprise visit from one cinnamon roll on White Day. After Shigeru found out what the holiday meant in Japan there's just no way he wasn't going to do something.

So he'll be smiling happily with a rather long, wrapped, box nestled in his arms when he knocks on the front door to the apartment. Shigeru's also just stopping by to check up on the other. He's been kinda worried ever since that network post Genji made. ]

[ In those first, horrible hours of waiting, while Eddie was in surgery and nothing was certain, Cisco had thought of Genji more than a few times. How he'd managed to survive, even after coming so close to dying. Genji hadn't given Cisco hope, exactly, so much as... a little less despair.
